After a long workweek, the Rockland Boulders Stadium was the backdrop for the annual Bon Secours Charity Health System Employee Appreciation Picnic. As a thank you for a year’s worth of hard work, employees and their immediate family members enjoyed an evening of beautiful weather at the minor league baseball stadium. Taking advantage of our hometown’s baseball team, employees were given the opportunity to enjoy local talent—something we definitely are not lacking!
After the ceremonial first pitch, it was time to play ball! The Rockland Boulders, currently fighting for first place in the CanAm league, treated our staff to a game to remember! Between foul balls, incredible hits and cheers that could be heard across the county, the Rockland Boulders Stadium was the place to be on Saturday night. As a DJ played some of today’s hottest tracks, a buffet was provided for our staff and their family members. Later on in the night, the dinner buffet was replaced by a full dessert buffet—who doesn’t love sweets and baseball?!
As the ninth inning came to a close, our staff, their family members and the rest of the crowd were treated to a post-show fireworks show. Bright colors exploded in the side, reminding everyone that the smallest things in life are usually the most memorable. From 9:30-11:00, our staff got to enjoy a post-game concert, courtesy of Curbside Hustle, another example of local talent.
